Say what you want about Kanye…

You can say what you want about Kanye West,
you can say what you want about his fashion sense,
his music, even his family (if you're feeling
particularly brutal), however one thing that
you cannot say is that the
Yeezy 350 boost isn't a work of art.

As one of the most sought after shoes of all
time there are obvious reasons that it's both
loved and respected world wide; the first glaring reason
being that it has Kanyes name on it, and he is
of course, to put it in his own words
"the greatest living rockstar on the planet"
(questionable some would say).
But its not just the obvious name dropping
 that makes it so legendary,
it's the simplicity, it's so simple yet so
complex both of which are
ingredients for what can only be described as
the Mona Lisa of shoes (or a
completely over rated, over hyped piece of shit),
as described by haters globally, typically being
those who were un able to get their hands on the
shoes. (sorry haters)

But despite all of this i have discovered one thing
 that overrules all of
this and distinguishes this shoe in particular from
 the others. Kanye West
has unwittingly created the
single GREATEST SNOW SHOE OF ALL TIME.

The Yeezy 350 boost has a thick rubber
sole with embossed lines for
decoration, this makes for extreme
traction on the slippery snow, you may
as well be wearing two tanks on your feet.
Now, you would think that the
completely un waterproof nature of the shoes
may present a small issue in
these conditions? Think again, all you need
is a layer or two of Crep
protect waterproof spray and you're good to go.

I would like to know if I'm the only person
to have discovered this
(I'm assuming so due to the lack of people
stupid enough to wear a shoe worth
£1000+ in the snow), but either way
please, somebody TELL KANYE.

Hakkasan

The east coast sister to the michelin-star
London restaurant, is set in the 5 star Miami Beach
Fountain Blue Hotel.
In essence, it brings the
haut-Chinese movement that is currently
so prevalent in London to south
Florida.

Whilst attempting to take in the atmosphere
and get the most out of my
evening meal at Hakkasan, the thought simply
didn't cross my mind to
photograph the experience...
in fact the only photo that I was able to
salvage from the exquisite evening is
the one shown below. The photograph
in fact is a snapchat, to whom it
was sent i couldn't tell you, but it is
 my only real visual recollection
of the evening, I'm therefore forced to
publish it or run the risk of
this being a completely disinteresting post..

As you can see from the rather
unprofessional photograph, (not a good way
to kick off my first post, but hey shit happens)
the food was simply
exquisite, pictured below is a platter
of dim sum dumplings, some of which are
topped with beluga caviar, making for
 an gorgeous combination of
flavours.

Now at the risk of sounding like a foodie wannabe,
or a restaurant critic
for that matter, i think ill leave it there.
